Saturday 6 December 1997 (Closing Ceremony)
Janet Cook (Secretariat for IOI'97) and Donald Cook (Chairman of the Scientific Committee for IOI'97) reunited at the closing ceremony.
They had hardly seen each other during the last couple of months while preparing and executing IOI'97.
The top-10 gold-medal winners with Shadow (cheetah mascot of IOI'97).
Besides a gold medal they received a certificate, a Microsoft Office'97 software package, and a Compaq palmtop computer.
